Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Blue Plate Special

Tube of choice. I used Paris by Alex Prihodko. These tubes can be purchased from Picsfordesigns

Scrapkit is called Peacocks Pride, by Russian Dutch Heart. This beautiful FTU kit can be downloaded

Mask of choice
Mask of choice – I used 0Mask 046
I’m not sure where I got this mask, so if it is yours, please let me know and I will either remove it, or give credit.
You can download this mask.

Note: This is a full size kit, so papers and elements are large. I resized all papers 20% before using them, unless stated otherwise. Element resizing is shown at each step

Open a new image 700 x 700
Fill white.

Layers – new raster layer. Selections – select all.
Paste Paper 6 into selection.
Apply mask.
In layers palette, merge group.

Element 37 (Starburst)

If using the same one as me, Shift D to duplicate tube, and close original (we are going to be changing colors and don’t want to risk spoiling it)

Close off all layers of the tube except Girl, Brooch and Black
Click on the black layer. Adjust – Hue & Saturation – Colorize H= 132  S=118
Your tube should now be wearing a dark teal dress like mine.

In layers palette, right click and merge visible your tube..

Shift D to duplicate. Minimise one copy for now
On the other copy, Mirror.
Erase the bottom half of the tube, from her shoulder down.
Paste this tube above the Element 37 layer and slide into position on the right.
